Introducing Our Founder,
Catherine Kaialoa

Some people collect things.

Catherine Kaialoa collects moments of joy.

For years, Catherine has spent her days as an early childhood educator at Wine Country Day Preschool, where creativity, curiosity, and hands-on discovery are part of everyday learning. Her favorite moments have never been about teaching lessons, they've been about watching a child discover something new, solve a problem, create with their hands, or light up with excitement.

That same philosophy inspired Down a Rabbit Hole.

What began as a love for vintage furniture, thoughtful gifts, children's books, and unique reasures became a place where people of every age are invited to slow down, wander, and discover something unexpected. Whether it's a candle that reminds you of home, a quirky tea towel that makes you laugh, or a toy that sparks a child's joy, every item is chosen with care and the hope that it brings a little more joy into someone's day. Catherine believes the best spaces are the ones that encourage curiosity. They're warm, welcoming, a little playful, and filled with things that invite conversation, creativity, and connection.
